June is a time when LGBTQIA+ communities and allies around the world come together to honour queer life, celebrate queer joy, and envision a future filled with greater inclusion, care, and hope. In India, we do this in recognition of our deep solidarity with each other, and our commitment to unity in diversity.
As we did last year, this year's Pride activities will be a mix of care and celebration. Don't forget to block your calendars for Friday, June 6th! We have planned an afternoon that honours queer culture and literature, during which we will announce an exciting new collaboration with Westland, one of India's most renowned publishing houses.
In addition, two exciting initiatives will be live on the day:
Pitch Bazaar – a platform to connect queer writers and storytellers with publishers, producers, and media professionals. (invite-only)
Queer Bazaar – pop-up shops featuring small queer-owned businesses. Come by, shop, and show your support! (open to all)
